A little translating should cheer some of the masochists up. First I was busy, then, I had surgery, now, some not fun complications from surgery. I hope you will all forgive my being carleās. I do have plans to get back to the show soon, but for right now my health is my main concern. I hope you understand that and forgiefaþ mē mīne gyltas.
Again, I'm very sorry for letting anyone down.

ReplyDeleteThank you for this site. Do you have a facebook page? Anyway thank you for this blog.
Hi Bob. Hope your health is improving. I only recently got up to date with Kevin Stroud's excellent History of English podcast and I've had your Learn Old English on the back burner for some time. I finally started into it this week without realising you had been ill.
ReplyDeleteI (in part selfishly) wish you well on your road to recovery.
Jim.
I just discovered your podcast after hearing of it on the History of English podcast. Sending well-wishes your way! Your health comes first. Take your time getting better, gather your strength, and I'll be looking forward to your next podcast whenever you are able! In the meantime, I'm looking forward to perusing what's on this web site and putting into practice some of your suggestions.
ReplyDeleteFound your blog today. The language is very different than English. Thought that Old English was easier to learn.
ReplyDeleteI wonder what happened to him
